A heliostat is generally a mirror that reflects sunlight onto a stationary target. Furthermore, there are exceptions, the geometry between the sun, mirror, and the target constantly changes throughout the day.
Here are some examples: Examples of "Receiver Axis" heliostat mounts. http://www.redrok.com/heliolighting.htm#receiveraxis http://www.heliotrack.com/ Vertical axis heliostat mounts. http://www.practicalsolar.com And examples of historic mechanical heliostats and coelostats, (2 mirror heliostats). http://www.redrok.com/main.htm#mechanical
Your tracker always aims at the sun and the geometry doesn't change throughout the day. This is a basically a conventional Fresnel lens solar tracking concentrator
Don't get me wrong, I applaud your work. Please keep it up.
The trouble is this is not a heliostat.
