Solar, Wind or Inverters...please explain, how does one store the Power to be used for Homes, considering that if you live outside the US and the power utility will never give you rebates. Obviously deep cycle batteries do not last for long & they are far too expensive, what do you suggest.

Also, if you are living on a farm, no grid power, how to obtain enough electricity to run your home electricity, without the hassle of keeping too many batteries, is there another method to store the power.

Use excess wind for electrolysis to split H2O and store the hydrogen in tanks similar to propane. Then you have a wind hydrogen hybrid system with storage banks that are only tanks. No batteries. Sure electrolysis is inefficent but so is storing excess energy in depleting batteries. The hydrogen tanks are low maintaince and can be burrired.
