Susan McGinnis anchors this afternoon's Clean Skies News Energy Report from Washington, DC. On the program:- Word from BP... A leak spilling hundreds of thousands of gallons of oil into the gulf every day may be contained by early next week. - Senators Bill Nelson, Robert Menendez and Frank Lautenberg say companies responsible for oil spills must pay for the resulting clean-up efforts, no matter the cost.- California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has withdrawn his support for a plan to expand oil drilling off the California coast.- The EPA says it's about to begin developing regulations for coal ash. But, it's still unclear if the coal-combustion waste will be considered "hazardous" or "non-hazardous." www.cleanskies.com
